Tenant Selection Process
We reviewed over 60 tenants over 4 months before we selected a resident for our unit. The selection process took longer because we combined the City of Chicago and our organization’s guidelines for what we require of tenants (see specific tenant requirements) to select the final tenant.
Amazing tenants are everywhere. The key is to create a property they want to rent. The tenant who moved in received an in-house inspection of their prior residence before we made a final decision to ensure we had the right tenant in the property.
