First G+ Social Media Community Photo Contest

So, here is the grand plan for this shindig!

We are going to have a logo contest for the Social Media Community. Why? Because the current one that I designed kind of stinks the big one, and I thought it would be fun.  Plus, I have never done a photo contest before, so it will be interesting to see how this turns out.

What are the rules: For those who want to create a new logo, the rules are pretty simple. You need to create a logo that is better than the one we are currently have (see disturbingly ugly image to the right).

The theme for the community should revolve around either bravery, boldness, or social media. Some combination of the three is great as well. Furthermore, the image must be 250×200 pixels with at least a 72 DPI. You can use the bottom 10 pixels of the image to type your name or a web link (text link only). The image should be respectful of others (ie no swearing, cursing, harsh language, etc). That is it. Other than that you have free rein to do what you want with the image.

The winner will be announced during the Social Media Community Hangout on Air Celebration March 28th at Noon CST.
